Upcoming Reviews for June 2013 - Update

A couple of months ago, I mentioned that I was going to be doing an 18650/18350 Battery review.  Truth is, there's just too much misinformation out there regarding batteries.  Time permitting I should be able to get this one up by the end of this weekend.

· TrustFire 18650 - 3000mAh (protected)
· EFest 18350 - 800mAh V2 (unprotected)

Update 6/8/2013 - The Battery Review is UP

Next, I'm still working on the Sigelei #19 review.  Out of the box, it leaves a little to be desired.  HOWEVER, I have a neat idea that I haven't seen anyone else try yet that MIGHT actually make this an awesome mod.  Keep your eyes peeled!

My 3 new eLiquids from Alien Visions are in the mail and on their way!  Does AVE have what it takes to make everything delicious, or is Boba's Bounty a fluke?

Update 6/11/2013 - The Alien Visions Review is UP

I decided that I needed an RDA (a dripping type of rebuildable atomizer) to be able to get all of the nuances of the different flavored eJuices that I'm reviewing.  I've got an SM2.0 (also referred to as an SM20) on its way from China, and I've got to tell you that I'm really looking forward to this build!  Can anything really taste any better than my Kanger Protank?  We'll just have to see!  I can confirm that it's on its way here and hopefully I'll have it in my hands by the end of this coming week!

Desperate for Boba's Bounty?

As just about everyone who uses Boba's Bounty from Alien Visions knows, their online store has been closed (at this point) for about 3 weeks now.

Over the past 2 weeks, roughly HALF of all of the hits to this Blog are from people desperate to find anybody selling it.  Trust me, I've thought about having an eBay auction for the 30ml's of 18mg BB that's been steeping for the past 30 days.  So it's ready to go AND it's just sitting there, as I've been testing a lot of new eLiquids lately.  But I'm not going to...  LOL!

Kanger ProTank Review - Followup

So a couple of weeks ago I wrote a glorious review of the Kanger ProTank.
Today I want to do a followup review, now that I've had more time to use it.

WANTED: REALLY GOOD ELIQUIDS!

Is it really too much to ask, for a quality made eLiquid with a STRONG and PRESENT flavor?  Is it really too much to ask for an eLiquid with a GOOD and LASTING flavor?  Is it really too much to ask for an eLiquid that is CONSISTENTLY and RELIABLY made?

So with a 2 out of 3 score against boutique eLiquid makers, I've decided to "import" 3 fruit flavored eLiquids directly from China.  I figured it would be an excellent test to see if maybe China can do something that we can't...

So this week, I'll be reviewing 5 7 eLiquids from Crystal Canyon Vapes (ccvapes.com).

Since the Strawberry Shortcake eLiquid I've been getting from ECBlend is blended too inconsistently for my tastes, I've decided to try some "fruity flavors" from another seller.  In my opinion, I rate eLiquids like I rate my cigarettes.  If "Marlboro Reds" tasted different every time, they'd never have created the true brand that they have.  If you can't make your stuff taste the same RELIABLY, then you may be in the wrong business.

Upcoming review #1: Sigelei Mechanical Mod #19

Everybody and their grandma has an opinion on these, I happen to think that this mod is a real diamond in the rough, but only placing one into my hands can confirm that.

Upcoming review #3: I'll be reviewing 3 different Dekang fruit flavored eLiquids, right off the boat from China.  I've had an excellent experience with the Tobacco flavors, I'm very interested in how well they pull off fruity flavors.  At $6 for 30ml's it's hard to pass up the opportunity.  If they're good, I'll be thrilled.  If not, I can't compain...

Upcoming review #4: 3 new eLiquids from Alien Visions!  They're back online again!  If they can only get their website issues sorted out...  Does AVE have what it takes to make everything delicious, or is Boba's Bounty a fluke?
