Quitting smoking is possible!

You may think that quitting smoking is a total impossibility for you....

I'm going to tell you, that after 30 years of smoking cigarettes, not only is it possible, but I've been cigarette free for days (now over a year!), at the time of this writing!

Review: 4 eLiquids from Uno Vapor

Of all the things that I've been complimented on, my thoroughness and the ability to "tell it like it is" have been the most prominent.  I want you to understand this, before you read this review...

Today, I'll be reviewing 4 eLiquids from Uno Vapor.  Before I begin (and especially if this is your first time reading my reviews) I want you to understand my rating criteria.  Unlike some "website-magazines" that shall remain nameless, I don't require that vendors send me free stuff, so you can be sure that I'll give it to you straight...

Here are my rating criteria for judging eLiquids:
  • Taste - Does it taste like what it says it's supposed to taste like?
  • Lingering Flavor - Does the flavor have PRESENCE & does it last?
  • Vapor Production - Does it make lots of Vapor?
  • Throat Hit - Is the throat hit too weak, too strong, or just right?
Testing Notes: One of the things I see all too often, is that "Flavor is subjective".  NO, your individual tastes may be subjective, but flavor is flavor.  I've never had a steak that tasted like chicken.  I've never had an orange that tasted like a banana.  I've never had a cup of coffee that tasted like Hawaiian Punch.  If you ever see me give an eLiquid a bad review, it's because they TASTE BAD and not because I don't like a particular flavor.  I don't care for the flavor of peaches and mangoes, so you won't see me review anything that contains those. Understand? For more information on this topic please read THIS Blog post...

I've been using the Uno Vapor brand of eLiquid on and off since February of this year, so I've had quite a while to judge it and discern its quality AND its consistency.  I've used this eLiquid in the following devices:
  • Stardust (CE4)
  • Kanger T2
  • Carto-Tank
  • AGA-T2
  • SmokTech RSST
  • Kanger ProTank
I can say without hesitation, that the eLiquids I'm going to be writing about today from Uno Vapor TASTE THE SAME in every one of the above listed devices (albeit with varying degrees of mutedness, due to the design of the device, not the eLiquid).

Tobacco - In my travels, I have yet to meet one Vaper who didn't start out with some kind of tobacco flavor when they first gave up Analog Cigarettes.  In retrospect, giving up the tobacco flavor of Analogs was probably the best thing I've ever done.  It's not until you finally realize that there's a WHOLE WORLD of flavor possibilities out there, that you decide that you don't NEED the flavor of your Vape to be tobacco based.

With that said, the Uno Vapor tobacco flavor is exactly that.  It tastes like a clean, well rounded fresh tobacco.  Unlike the perfumeyness that you get from a DeKang or the complexities you'll find with something like Boba's Bounty or an Asian Blend, the Uno Vapor tobacco is slightly sweet and depending on the nicotine level, as bold as you'd like it to be.  I've found that the 18mg gives plenty of throat hit and really gives you that "full flavored cigarette" feeling in the back of your throat.  The 11mg tastes exactly the same, but with a "light cigarette" level of throat hit.  The 6mg and even 0mg follow the same patern, the taste never changes, just the amount of throat hit drops with each level.  Vapor Production is OUTSTANDING and CONSISTENT across all nicotine levels that I've tried.

Do I like this eLiquid?  What's not to like?  It tastes like what it says on the label, the nicotine is always perfect, the Vapor production is unwavering and it's been consistently so, bottle after bottle after bottle.

Toffee - After I was Vaping for a while, I started to wonder about other flavors.  I decided to try a candy flavor and boy was I glad that I did.  The Uno Vapor toffee flavored eLiquid is a well rounded but sweet toffee flavor.  If you enjoy the flavor of toffee, you really need to get a bottle of this.  Everyone needs to "change it up" now and then, this toffee flavor is great while having coffee or just sitting around while looking at the stars (where did I just go?).  I've used this one at 18mg, 11mg & 0mg and just like the tobacco flavor, this one is always consistent, bottle after bottle.  Nicotine levels are always perfect, flavor is always what it says on the bottle, Vapor production is awesome too.  Again, if you like toffee, then what's not to like?

Melon - This was one of my recent discoveries.  Uno Vapor has somewhere in the neighborhood of 60-70 flavors to choose from, so every now and then when I walk into one of their 3 locations, I'll pick up a tester and a drip-tip cover and I'll take a few puffs here and there, just to try some new flavors.  This one caught me by surprise, as I had never noticed it before.  If you like cantaloupe, then you'll LOVE THIS one.  It actually tastes JUST LIKE REAL cantaloupe.  It's NOT overbearingly sweet, it's not synthetic tasting and I've been using it as an all day Vape for the past 5-6 days straight.  Just like the others, it's really good and it's really satisfying.  I'm using this one at 11mg and the throat hit is mild, the Vapor production is perfect.  Again, it's all about consistency and this eLiquid does not disappoint.

USA Mix Mint - Another one of my recent discoveries, this one was something of a surprise for me.  I haven't really been into menthol cigarettes since Wham! was on the radio.  When I look for eLiquids, I generally don't go anywhere near menthols.  But this one got my attention for a reason (Uno Vapor actually has a USA Mix Menthol, so this one is distinct).  The last time I went into the store I grabbed the tester for this and immediately loved this one.  For those of you who don't know, the title "USA Mix" is something that just about every eLiquid maker has embraced to reflect their "Marlboro/Winston" offerings.  Nobody likes to get cease and desist letters from lawyers who probably make more money in a week than you do in a year.  In any event, if you like mint and you like their tobacco flavor, this is an awesome all day Vape as well.  I came close to draining an entire 10ml bottle of this stuff in about 3 days.  Sometimes things taste so good that you can't put them down.  I've used this one at 11mg and it's just as consistent across the board as the others.  If you need something to Vape and you need it to be consistent, trust me, you'll really like this one.

By the way, did you notice their packaging in the above picture?  Not only do their eLiquids taste good, but they're really a class-act.  Who else do you know that goes to the extra added expense of packaging their eLiquids so nicely?  And don't think that expensive packaging means expensive eLiquid.  Their 30ml bottles are only 33 cents per ml!  That's under $10 per 30 ml bottle.  And it's at a level of quality and consistency that you can't ignore.

Please visit the ecigarette-outlet.com online store for more information about their flavor offerings and if you're in the Miami / Fort Lauderdale area, please don't hesitate to drop into one of their B&M locations, as they've also got a full line of products from atomizers, batteries, mods, etc!

  1. Just wanted to say, I have been vaping for a little over 6 months and didn't start out on a tobacco flavor, started out on menthol, then switched to cinnamon, and every flavor in between since . I have tried a couple though. But you are still correct in not having MET anyone yet.

    1. Anonymous,

      Too Funny!

Although, I do say "Some kind of tobacco flavor", so menthol would FIT perfectly into that designation. Remember, when us ex-smokers think menthol, it's clear we're talking about tobacco... ;)

      Thanks for the comments!
